These were family photos I shot at the families home on the lake. The parents had recently sold the home and wanted to do a photo with their kids and grandkids before their move. It was a gorgeous home and a beautiful day for pictures. It was a rare photoshoot with my kids tagging along. When the session was done, the family graciously offered a boat ride for the kids. We couldn't have ask for a better session.

Josh and Amber

Well, this was a bit of a change for me. First of all, we got the call for this wedding just about a month before the big day. Second, it was the first time that I've photographed a wedding without meeting the bride or groom ahead of time. (I met with the mother beforehand.) Finally, everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. The wedding was at Spring Grove Park, near Jamestown, MI. The park was beautiful, the weather was wonderful, the familes were at ease and peaceful, and the bride was gorgeous. The wedding party was easy to work with, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. Josh and Amber were each marrying their best friend. I was thankful for the opportunity to do something I love, with such special people, on such special occasions.

Brian and Sue are a couple with 2 grown sons, a daughter in-law, and a precious granddaughter. They are crazy about this little girl! When the family was all together she asked me to stop by her home and photograph the group. The combination of a great yard and a happy family made for some pretty nice pictures.
